We provide a safe, supportive, and structured environment for boys placed in care, helping them develop confidence, stability, and life skills for a brighter future.
Hunting for More Love (HFML) is a trauma-informed General Residential Operation located in Katy, Texas, serving boys ages 8 – 17 in a small, relationship-centered residential setting. The program is intentionally designed with a limited capacity of seven youth, allowing staff to provide individualized attention, maintain strong relational consistency, and support experiences that more closely resemble everyday family and community life.

Hunting for More Love (HFML) provides a safe and supportive residential environment for boys in foster care who have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect. Our program offers 24-hour care for boys ages 8–17, focusing on their emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs.
Through trauma-informed care and specialized therapeutic services, our professional team helps children heal, build healthy relationships, and develop important life skills. At HFML, we are committed to creating a stable, home-like setting where every child has the opportunity to grow, recover, and move toward a brighter future.
Across all service packages, youth are served according to individualized service plans informed by assessments, identified strengths, treatment needs, and permanency goals. Placement decisions consider the needs of the individual youth as well as the dynamics of the existing household, with attention to safety, supervision, and the youth’s ability to benefit from the program’s relational and community-oriented structure.
